Two kinds of data, kept separate.
Claimprint purchase records stay on your device. If you opt into an intelligent summary, only the captured name and offer text are processed remotely when you choose Capture offer. A beta application is stored separately by this site so the Claimprint operator can select and contact testers.
Claimprint purchase records and summaries
Confirmed page text, product image crops and local OCR wording, claims, observations, evidence attachments, deadlines, history and reminders stay in the Chrome profile where the extension is installed. Claimprint has no purchase-record account, analytics or cloud backup. Intelligent summaries are optional. The Capture offer button explains that it starts processing. No separate setup or checkbox is required; the extension declares claimprint.com access at installation. Capture offer then sends only the captured name and text to Claimprint and OpenAI to produce a source-linked summary with automatic source and number checks. Images, cookies, browsing history, full page HTML, form values, saved records, attachments and the local vault are not sent. Model-response storage is disabled. Claimprint does not retain captured text or generated summaries on its server; it stores shared rate-limit counters. Previously issued access-code hashes may remain in historical administration records; captures no longer require a code. Operational logs record request identifiers, stage timings, token counts and error codes, without captured text or summaries. Identical summary inputs may be reused for thirty minutes in browser-session memory. Summary settings also offers local-only processing for the current capture. You can instead use the local-only summary. Product images are read locally using bundled software; transient full-tab screenshots used for cropping are discarded. Supported disclosures and image-gallery views may be opened and restored during a user-triggered capture. Removing the extension or clearing its browser storage may erase local records. Download a full backup and store it privately if you need recovery after device loss. Backups are unencrypted and may include history and Trash.
Beta application data
The site stores your name if supplied, email, operating system, installation comfort, intended purchase type, eligibility confirmations, application status, and submission time. The Claimprint operator uses this only to assess beta fit, select up to eight testers, prevent duplicate or abusive submissions, and contact applicants about this beta.
Security and retention
Applications are kept in the site’s private database and are available only through a restricted administration dashboard. A short-lived hashed network identifier may be retained for abuse prevention; raw network addresses are not stored in the application record. When the first group closes, unselected applications are scheduled for deletion after 90 days. Selected tester contact details are scheduled for deletion 90 days after the beta’s final follow-up is recorded. Privacy requests expire after 90 days and are removed sooner when fulfilled. Due records are automatically removed during normal site operation. A longer period is used only when needed to resolve an active request.
